Help for using the school spaces

The school spaces are for students and teachers to exhibit and track their progress as they work to reduce their school’s carbon emissions as result of the Carbon Challenge roadshow.

Schools can upload their action plan for carbon reduction action plan which they put together during the roadshow; maintain a weblog; and share photos, videos and audio files. Logging in allows users to contribute to the other school’s blogs as they see how they are progressing.

If you want to see how these spaces will progress, have a look at the sample school space we’ve created for our own imaginary Carbon College.

Each week, the school which has made most progress in carbon reduction and updating their area with their progress will be featured on the home page.

If you this is your page and you have received a visit from the Carbon Challenge roadshow please log in now to update this page with what you have been doing to reduce your carbon emissions.

If you would like a school space for your school, please apply for a place in the two-part Enterprising Science programme.

This programme is brought to you by BP in response to the Sustainable Schools 2020 National Framework, which recommends that all schools are a model of energy efficiency, renewable energy use and water management; that all schools are models of sustainable travel; and that all schools are models of waste minimisation and sustainable procurement by 2020.
