The Carbon Challenge helps students achieve Bronze CREST awards from the British Science Association
Students participating in the Carbon Challenge can become eligible for a Bronze CREST award from the British Science Association. Using the roadshow as a starting point, groups complete ten hours of work on a scientific investigation and are assessed according to criteria relating to scientific procedure and communication. Two project ideas, one on solar hot water heating and another on insulation, can be found on the British Science Association’s website.
