Enterprising Science supports the key curriculum areas of Science, Maths and Enterprise
Talk Science
Techniques and tools gained from participating in the Talk Science CPD opportunity can be used within all UK 11–16 Science curricula to promote student understanding of the applications and implications of science and to develop effective communication skills.
The masterclass offers teachers the opportunity to:
- discuss why dialogue and debate are important in science
- share and develop tools and techniques for planning and carrying out dialogue-based lessons
- have fun and exchange ideas with other teachers.
It also supports: Functional skills – How Science Works (England and Wales), Personal, learning and thinking skills (England and Wales), Skills Framework (Wales), Enterprise in Education and the Four Capacities (Scotland), Thinking skills and Personal capabilities (NI).
Trading Challenge roadshow
